This week we welcome Pastor Andrew back from his summer journey. He has a few things to say about some of the ordeals of that trip in his sermon "Grace Under Pressure"

2 John 3
3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord
Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Hebrews 4:14-16
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens,
Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High
Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as
we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that
we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Pastor David Phelps preaches again with Pastor Andrew and Debbie returning on August 12th after their summer vacation. Pastor Phelps spoke on Four Key Ingredients."  Churches look different and do things differently, but to be a true Christian Church they need these key ingredients.

This week Pastor David Phelps speaks on the topic of Your Faith has Made You Well. Listen and learn how our faith can have an affect on us.

Mark 5:34

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction."

Pastor Chris Charette spoke to us again while Pastor Andrew is away. His topic was about the promises we make and specifically how David honored Jonathon by taking care of his son Mephibosheth.

1 Samual 20:42

42 Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.’” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.[b

This week we were fortunate to have Pastor Chris Charette share with us. He spoke about not being ashamed of the gospel as it says in Romans.

Romans 1:14-17 14I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. 15That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. 16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed-a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Pastor David Phelps preached again this week and his theme was that we should act and live in the confidence of Christ and then out of that to pray with confidence.

1 John 5:14 14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

This week Pastor David Phelps takes over while Pastor Andrew and Debbie are on vacation. His topic is dealing with our "Core Desire". Listen as he speaks about this desire and how when fulfilled, it is a tree of life as Proverbs 13:12 says:

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life." (NAS)

Last week, Pastor Andrew spoke about something we were promised by Jesus - New Life

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

This week Pastor Andrew takes a line from the old Abbot and Costello skits “Who's on First”. That may be a question we all should ask in relation to God with a slight change - Who is First? Listen and find out ”Who's on First”.

Joshua 5:13-15

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?"

14 So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come."

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?"

This past week Pastor Andrew Andrew spoke about the Tree of Life. We are promised to eat of that tree.

Revelation 2:7

7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God." '
