"Leave and Cleave" - Pastor Andrew Chrysler, 4/27/14

Pastor Andrew speaks this week from Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." But rather than just speak about marriage, Pastor Andrew relates it to us being the bride of Christ as it says in Ephesians 5:31-32  "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." As we looked at the wedding vows we speak to each other how we could say those same vows to God as we look at our relationship with Him.

We Stand With Israel Clint and Pam Erb 3/16/14

This week we were fortunate to have Clint and Pam Erb visit GLBC and speak about Israel and the ministry they are involved in called We Stand With Israel. First Clint gave a very interesting talk about some of the history surrounding Israel and what the bible says about the land of Israel and the people of Israel. NKJV or as the KJV says " Study to show thyself approved. We need to learn the word of God as it says in Psalms "Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee." God gave us His word to protect and lead us in His ways we need to be disciplined to study that Word!
