Although Pastor appreciation day is generally celebrated in October, because some of the people travel south for the winter and won’t be here then, we wanted to celebrate it early with all of our congregation. Brother Steve brought the message so that Pastor Andrew could have a break today and we could celebrate as a church.
Acts 20: 26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. 

This week, Pastor Andrew, asked the question whose side are you on? As Joshua said in Josh 24:15 choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, … But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 5:13-14
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

There are many times in life when God asks us to do things that don’t necessarily make sense to the world. When Paul and Silas were in prison (Acts:16:25), they didn’t walk by sight, or they might have been complaining about their circumstance, but instead they were walking by faith and they begin to worship God and praise Him and their chains fell off. Listen as Pastor Andrew reminds us that no matter the circumstances, we should always walk by faith! 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Proverbs 4:23 reminds us that we need to guard our hearts! This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us how important that is.
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 

Names can be difficult to remember for some people, some people remember a face, but can’t remember the name, but we are blessed that we have a God that not only remembers your face, but he remembers your name. The Word says he will never leave you nor forsake you! (Heb 13:5} and Isa 49:15 says He will not forget you!
1 Samuel 3:10 Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

The Bible says God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalms 22:3 kjv). Always give Him Praise!
2 Samuel 22:4 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

We know from Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and fallen short of God‘s glory.“ in this message Pastor Andrew talks about what happens when that sin is against us.
Matthew 18:21-22
 21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that we should also be looking inward and examining ourselves.
2 Corinthians 13:5
5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God is in the business of changing lives!
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
