Who We Are In Christ - Brother Rich 11/16/14

As Pastor Andrew and Debbie are away this week, Brother Rich Ballard is preaching on "Who We Are in Christ". We'll spend the next 2 weeks looking at what God's word says about who we are - a new creation (2 Cor 5:15), a Son of God (Rom 8:16), a citizen of heaven (Eph 2:19) and so on through 12 different promises God has given us about who we are in Him.

This week Pastor Andrew continued discussing "Believing God" The focus this week was more of trusting God when things go bad.John 11:20-21    (NKJV)20 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”

"Believing God" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 11/2/14

Romans 4:1-4  What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” This week Pastor Andrew looks at Abraham and Sarah and how they believed God. Using their example we can look at our lives and do we truly believe God that he is going to keep his promises to us. 

"Seeking God's Image" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 10/26/14

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" We were created in God's image and we need to remember that everyone around you was also created in God's image. This week pastor Andrew talks about looking for the image of God in those around us. In 1st John it says "My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." We need to love those around us and always remember they are also made in the image of God.

"Questions" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 10/19/14

Pastor Andrew speaks this week on "Questions' starting from Jeremiah 33:2-3  “Thuus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’God wants to answer your questions. He says Ask and it shall be given!

"God is a Rewarder" - Pastor Andrew Chrysler 10/12/14

Pastor Andrew is back and he finishes his series on "God is" by returning to the 2nd half of the original scripture in  Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
