"LearningTo Trust" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 12/6/20

"In God We Trust" is on every US Dollar. Most people don't have any idea what it means let alone that it is there. This week Pastor Andrew will help us to understand better how to follow the money... at least as far as trusting in God!

Pastor Andrew is back and bring a message about praying. Jesus didn't say "If you pray" but "When You Pray" It is an expectation of every believer. Listen and learn more about this important topic for all Christians.

"4 Key Ingredients" Pastor David Phelps 11/22

Thanks again to Pastor Phelps for filling in for another week. He described the sermon as follows "My wife likes to bake and no mater what it is she is baking there are 4 key ingredients that are necessary to make the baked item good.  It is the same with the church.  Acts 2:42-47 shows us what those key ingredients are and how, when they are combined appropriately produce a healthy and productive church."

"Just Do It" Pastor David Phelps 11/15/20

Pastor David Phelps will be joining us for a couple weeks while pastor Andrew enjoys a much needed vacation! This week he spoke on Nike - Just Do It... I mean he spoke on Prayer. But his theme was from Nike's famous slogan that we all need to Just Do It when it comes to prayer!  It's a sermon about our personal prayer lives with the text being Mt 6:9-13, Jesus instruction to the disciples on how to pray (The Lord's prayer).  The bottom line of the sermon is, whether you pray right or wrong, good or bad it doesn't matter as much as the fact that you should Just Do it - communicate with your Father!!!

"Resilience" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 11/8/20

This week Pastor Andrew talked about something we are all having to learn in 2020 "Resilience" According to Merriam - Webster
Definition of resilience
1 : the capability of a strained body to recover its size and shape after deformation caused especially by compressive stress
2 : an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change
I think we all need to hear this message at this time!

"Faithfulness" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 11/1/20

This week Pastor Andrew talks about being faithful as well as our God who is always faithful!
Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 
 

"Selfishness" Pastor Andrew Chrysler 10/25/20

How can you "love your neighbor as yourself" and be selfish? Which is related to the first command to love the Lord your God with all your heart, sole, and mind" (Matt 22:37-38). We also know  from 1 John 4:20, If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? Love is an act of selflessness, not selfishness. List as Pastor Andrew discusses this in this week's message.

When do we ever have enough? When we have the Lord Jesus, we always have more than enough!!
